Students in my class are consistently asked to collaborate with their peers. Being able to offer my students a comfortable space with a couch and lap desks will encourage creativity and group learning. Giving my students the opportunity to brainstorm and challenge each other while working our classroom projects is not only ideal for learning---but also building our classroom community. My students deserve the opportunity to be comfortable in their classroom environment so that they are able to do their most profound work as they become the bilingual leaders of the future. Providing my students with alternative seating in the classroom caters to all types of learners and ensures that all students have access to the information we have been delving into this year!
