Empowering Future College Students with a Counseling Office MacBook

My Project

As a school counselor at a STEM-focused high school, one of my primary responsibilities is guiding students through the complex college admissions process. From completing FAFSA applications to applying for scholarships, researching colleges, writing essays, and navigating portals like Common App — students need reliable technology to access these vital resources.

A MacBook Air in our counseling office would provide students with a reliable and fast device to complete their college and scholarship applications, attend virtual admissions webinars, and receive real-time assistance with the help of a counselor nearby.

This computer will be available throughout the school day and after school hours, creating an accessible, supportive space where students can take charge of their future.
