This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

To support my amazing students, I am requesting Apple MacBook Pro 14-inch laptops. These powerful laptops are designed for speed, performance, and seamless integration with accessibility and educational tools.

For my students with special needs, these MacBooks will unlock access to vital assistive technologies—like speech-to-text programs, reading comprehension software, visual learning tools, and interactive communication apps.

These tools allow students to work at their own pace, express themselves in ways that feel natural to them, and engage more deeply with content that might otherwise be out of reach.

Whether it's creating multimedia presentations, using adaptive math programs, or simply being able to independently navigate an assignment with built-in accessibility features, these devices will give my students the freedom and confidence to learn in a way that works best for them.

Our classroom is filled with potential, but we face significant limitations when it comes to technology. Currently, we share outdated devices that often crash or lag, which disrupts learning and causes frustration. My students deserve access to tools that match their abilities—not limit them.

By funding this project, you’ll be giving my students the chance to thrive using modern technology designed with their needs in mind. These MacBooks will not only enhance learning but also promote independence, creativity, and a sense of accomplishment. Your support will make a real and lasting impact in their lives.
