This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am excited to implement project-based instruction to engage my English Language Learners (ELLs) in meaningful, hands-on learning experiences. To achieve this, I am seeking support to fund resources and materials that will make these projects successful and impactful.
Our classroom is home to a diverse group of ELL students who bring rich cultural backgrounds and unique perspectives.
While these students are eager to learn, they often face challenges related to language barriers and need more engaging, interactive methods to grasp new concepts.
Project-based learning (PBL) is an instructional approach that allows students to explore real-world problems and develop solutions through collaborative projects. For ELL students, this method is particularly effective because it integrates language practice with practical application, thereby enhancing their communication skills while making learning more relevant and enjoyable.
To create a thriving PBL environment for our ELL students, we need the following resources:

Promote Critical Thinking by Engaging students in real-world problems that stimulate their creativity and problem-solving skills.
Foster Collaboration by Encouraging teamwork and communication among students, building their confidence in using English interactively.
