This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Every student deserves an opportunity to learn! However, sometimes not all students have access to a Chromebook. Many of my students come from an area where wifi or access to a computer is not possible. Therefore, they prefer for their worksheets and homework to be on paper. Did you know that tactile learners learn better through writing down words and thoughts? Many of these tactile learners are my English learners who need practice writing words or their essays on a piece of paper. In addition, they need access to printed stories to improve their comprehension. At our school, sometimes the copy machine is broken or there is no printer readily available for me to provide these resources to my students!
With this printer I can allow every student the opportunity to practice their English skills on paper, to improve.
This printer will allow my students access to graphic organizers, spelling worksheets, printed stories for annotation, and more! Please give my students access to printed materials to improve their learning!
