This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our project aims to provide Makerspace materials to inspire and nurture the imagination of my students. Makerspaces are innovative environments where learners can tinker, create, and explore using various tools and materials and our classroom has limited resources.

I hope to bridge this gap by creating a Makerspace with materials, ranging from basic crafting supplies to legos and play-dough.

These materials will enable students to unleash their creativity, problem-solving skills, and innovation through hands-on experiences.

By providing Makerspace materials, we empower students to become creators. This space will also cater to different learning styles, allowing students to engage in hands-on, experiential learning. Investing in creativity today cultivates the innovators and problem solvers of tomorrow, contributing to a more prosperous and innovative society.
