it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a Title I public school teacher for 12th Grade Government and AP Government classes, fostering creativity and critical thinking in my students is my top priority. And, to make our classroom a space where ideas come alive, we need essential materials to support hands-on projects, artistic expressions, and community building.
We’re requesting basic supplies like Elmer's glue sticks, a class set of scissors, watercolors, colored pencils, and snacks.
These materials will allow students to create vibrant posters, engaging presentations, and other creative projects that bring government concepts to life. From illustrating the Bill of Rights to crafting advocacy campaigns, these resources will transform learning into an active and imaginative experience.
Additionally, snacks will ensure students stay energized and focused during class, especially when tackling the challenging content in AP Government. This support will make our classroom not just a place for academic growth, but a welcoming and inclusive environment where every student feels supported.
