My Project

I invite you to be a part of my transformative project, aimed at empowering young boys through the magic of strategic play and social-emotional learning (SEL). My after-school boys club is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing space where boys can thrive, develop crucial life skills, and build strong foundations for their futures.

At the heart of my program lies the Othello board game, a captivating and thought-provoking experience that goes beyond mere entertainment.

Through this game of strategy, my boys will learn to navigate complex decisions, analyze situations, and think critically, all while engaging in cooperative and competitive gameplay.

But my vision extends far beyond the game board. I firmly believe that SEL development is the key to nurturing well-rounded individuals who are equipped to face life's challenges with resilience and empathy. I will guide the boys in exploring themes of emotional intelligence, conflict resolution, teamwork, and communication, using the Othello game as a powerful tool for growth.
