This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students, ranging from Pre-K to 5th grade, all have diverse backgrounds and communication abilities. The speech room is where they come to learn how to be more effective communicators all while having fun. I like to create a language enriched environment through the use of games and books. They learn through play, hands-on activities, and literacy. This project will provide them with the tools and materials that will support engagement during speech therapy sessions. My students and I can’t thank you enough for considering the funding of our project!
