This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschoolers favorite part of the day is visiting the art center! This is the time of the day where students have the most autonomy! I am currently working on revamping students art center. I want to add more resources that help enhance students designs.

Practicing autonomy in art is when students are given the opportunity to make their own creative decisions and take ownership of their artwork.

This is why I want to make sure students have all the resources they need. I am asking for two types of scissors to give student autonomy of how they'll like to cut things out.This is my way of supporting students exploration of the world and what they can create in it. I am very excited about what this project will bring to my students!
