This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me in empowering wonderful autistic TK, kindergarten, and first-grade students with this hands-on literacy project! My mission is to provide these exceptional learners with the tools and resources they need to thrive in their literacy journey which includes Lakeshore Learning Kits and books.

My students, who require additional support due to being non-speaking, deserve every opportunity to engage with stories in a meaningful and interactive way.

That's why I am writing this project, to create hands-on literacy activities and provide a diverse selection of books paired with corresponding storytelling pieces.

With your support, I can make stories come to life for these remarkable students. Through tangible pieces that represent story events, I can help make abstract concepts concrete, thus enhancing their comprehension skills. By incorporating engaging storytelling elements, I can hook their attention and maintain their engagement throughout the learning process. Your contribution will directly impact the lives of these students, providing them with the tools they need to unlock their full potential and become confident readers and storytellers.
