Empowering Athletes: Supplying Special Olympics Champions!

My Project

I am incredibly fortunate to work with a group of inspiring students who bring joy, determination, and resilience to everything they do. My students, who participate in the Special Olympics, thrive in environments that encourage movement, teamwork, and hands-on learning. They embrace challenges with enthusiasm and never shy away from an opportunity to grow.

This project will also support our Champion Club, where 5th-grade students work alongside my students to help them practice for the Special Olympic Games.

This mentorship fosters friendship, inclusion, and teamwork while allowing all students to develop leadership and empathy.

The requested equipment will play a crucial role in preparing my students for success. The bowling set will help with hand-eye coordination and social interaction, while the easy-catch playballs and foam discs will promote teamwork and active engagement. The steeple course set and crawl tunnel will enhance agility and body awareness, and the spot markers and balance paddles will support balance and movement skills in fun and engaging ways.

By funding this project, you are giving my students the opportunity to participate in meaningful, skill-building activities that will empower them both in and out of the classroom. My goal is to create an inclusive, supportive space where every student can experience success, gain confidence, and develop lifelong physical skills.
