My Project
We are excited to introduce you to our high school art and STEM class at KIPP Navigate. As the new academic year approaches, we are preparing to launch an innovative DTF (Direct-To-Film) Printing Unit. To make this project a resounding success, we need your support in acquiring 120 t-shirts to facilitate hands-on learning experiences and unleash the creativity of our students.
Our goal is to provide a comprehensive education that integrates art and STEM disciplines, empowering students to explore the intersection between technology and artistic expression.
By combining traditional art techniques with cutting-edge DTF printing technology, we aim to foster creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration within our diverse student body.
DTF printing is a revolutionary technique that allows students to transfer intricate designs onto fabric, resulting in vibrant, long-lasting prints. Through this unit, our students will develop essential skills in graphic design, digital imaging, color theory, and entrepreneurial thinking. By working with industry-standard equipment, they will gain practical knowledge that can lead to future career opportunities in fields such as graphic design, fashion, and printing technology.
T-shirts serve as the perfect canvas for our students' creativity. By printing their designs on t-shirts, they can showcase their work, build self-confidence, and share their artistic expressions with the school community. Additionally, t-shirts offer a versatile medium for cross-curricular projects, allowing students to integrate concepts from various subjects and create unique, wearable art.
