Help me give my students a MacBook to empower them and their work. I want my girls to become motivated to explore computer science careers.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have the most energetic third graders this year.
My class is composed of ten students with disabilities.
My students have made great strides in the school year. My students are of African-American and Hispanic descent with 99% of them receiving free or reduced-price school meals. I tell my students, "You can make a difference."
My students are very hard workers, and regardless of their surroundings in their neighborhood, my students come to a class dedicated to working. They know that once they step in the classroom they are ready to work and learn new content. I love it when I see my students learn and apply what they have learned in the class and use it in their real life. My students are bright and enthusiastic students ready to learn. My class is located in a low-income area. A large percentage of the student population qualifies for free lunch. My students are not provided with opportunities to experience new things. My students are bright and very dedicated students. My students need real-life experiences in order to make real-life connections.
My Project
We often hear about the STEM gender gap. Why are there so few women interested in science, technology, engineering and math? A child's interest in STEM is greatly influenced by stereotypes and cultural norms. We need to expose our students to positive female role models, making a difference in STEM careers.
"Science is not a boy's game, it's not a girl's game: It's everyone's game" - Nichelle Nichols
I want my girls to research and create projects motivated by innovative women who made their mark in science, technology, engineering and math. I am planning lots of activities and projects for them to create slide shows, presentations, and doing lots of research on the questions that they undoubtedly come up with during the course of the year. I want them to have access to their work in a digital. It makes things so much more real for them to actually be able to touch and hold something.
This new Laptop with the use of the trackpad and keyboard would be the key to unlocking their potential in creativeness in science and math.
It is capable of helping the students create their own google portfolio such as google powerpoint, word, and excel.
When I ask my students to write, I want them to feel like they will have that finished product to take home and share with their families by saving it in their google. drive.
That is such a crucial and motivating element for my students. They love seeing that finished product on display with vibrant colors. Please help! my girls obtain a laptop they desperately need.
