This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are excited scholars who have a passion for learning. Unfortunately, we do not have the proper materials and resources for them to be able to learn how to socially interact with others and be able to deal with different feelings and emotions. All students at this school are offered free breakfast, lunch, and snack. It is difficult for young students to learn without newer books that are tailored to their interest and reading levels. It is a goal of mine to make learning fun and interesting for all students.

Please help our students to have better access to materials to develop a deeper knowledge and passion of reading, while also enjoying learning at the same time!

My Project

Our students have a difficult time resolving different feelings and emotions throughout the school day.

In order for students to be successful academically in the classroom, their emotions must be regulated. We need different tools to help students to learn these skills. This kit will explain different moods and feelings to students at their appropriate age level. They will then learn different problem solving skills in order to change and regulate their own feelings and emotions. This will then lead to each individual student becoming a contributing citizen to the classroom!
