This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day, I'm inspired by the resilience, curiosity, and determination of my students. Their eagerness to learn and grow despite facing various challenges is truly commendable.

The specific items I'm requesting – fruit snacks, fruit leathers, applesauce, crackers, and power bars – play a crucial role in supporting their well-being and concentration.

Many of my students come to school hungry or without access to nutritious snacks, which can impact their ability to focus, engage, and learn effectively. By providing these healthy snacks, we aim to alleviate hunger, boost energy levels, and enhance their overall learning experience.

My primary goal for this project is to create a nourishing and supportive environment where every student feels valued, cared for, and empowered to succeed academically and personally. These snacks are not just food; they are a symbol of our commitment to their well-being and success.

What makes my students truly special is their resilience and determination. Despite facing various obstacles, they continue to show up, participate, and strive for excellence. They deserve every opportunity to thrive, and with your support, we can provide them with the resources they need to succeed both inside and outside the classroom.
