Help me give my students Sphero and a printer to create their own plans and path and centers to learn STEM.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
My class is composed of 60 fifth grades in a general education class, with students with IEP and ELL learners and special education students such as autism.
I tell my students
"You can make a difference"
They come from many cultures and often times we share about the differences between how things are done in various countries. In my class, they see that this is where many of the other subjects they learn come together and apply to real life. The development of STEM proficient students begins in elementary schools. In fact, non-STEM fields heavily recruit graduates with STEM degrees because they possess these skills that students from other majors have not developed.
In a technology-based society, technology is forever changing. It’s also used in almost every aspect of our lives. As work places change with updated software, and office equipment and machinery become more advanced, STEM knowledge is vital. Keeping up with technology is incredibly important.
My Project
We need a Sphero Bolt robot, printer, and ink because it is a great way to introduce elementary students to circuit boards and programming with the programming language.
This project will help our STEM-Gineers club focus on learning more about circuit boards, as well as basic programming and language.
Our students will explore and complete a series of circuit challenges that teach how to read sensors, display information on an LCD, drive motors, make LED lights blink, and more. No previous programming or electronics knowledge needed! Due to the limited experiences of our girls, having these resources will allow them to work with technology that they would not typically encounter.
Our STEM-Gineers are innovators and problem solvers; providing tools such as the laptop will help them discover new concepts, develop 21st century skills, and direct their aspirations toward becoming scientists and engineers of the future. With Sphero Bolt robot, printer, and ink my students will be able to use Scratch to program, use coding sites, and makerbot. Our school's focus is to provide our students with rigorous task and questioning. With the use of these STEM centers my students will benefit greatly because they are designed to promote creativity, inquiry, and collaboration while encouraging students to learn through discovery. STEM scares many students because it is perceived as being too difficult and tragically boring. With your support and these kits you will clear up the misconceptions of STEM. The truth is that STEM encompasses the most engaging, hands-on subjects in our schools. Strong STEM skills lead to more beautiful art, more engrossing performances, and more polished productions.
STEM classes develop those soft skills that so many careers need, and so many students lack – skills like communication, problem solving, critical thinking, creativity, and data analysis.
