My Project

I work with an incredible group of middle schoolers who inspire me daily with their curiosity, resilience, and determination. They come from diverse backgrounds, and despite the challenges many of them face, they show up ready to learn and grow. What I love most about my students is their unwavering spirit and their drive to succeed, no matter the obstacles.

Unfortunately, some of my students struggle with basic needs, including access to hygiene products.

When students don’t have the essentials like deodorant, toothbrushes, soap, or feminine hygiene products, it can affect their confidence, focus, and ability to fully engage in the classroom. My goal with this project is to provide each of my students with a hygiene kit that will help them feel comfortable, confident, and ready to learn.

The hygiene items I'm requesting—such as deodorant and menstrual care products—will have an immediate impact on their well-being. When students feel clean and cared for, they can focus more on their studies, participate actively in class, and interact positively with their peers. By addressing these needs, we can remove a barrier that often stands in the way of their success.

My students are special because of their resilience and their eagerness to grow despite life’s challenges. I want to ensure that their focus can stay on learning, not on worries about basic necessities. By supporting this project, you’re helping create an environment where every student feels valued and capable of achieving their best.
