My Project
At our elementary school, we serve a vibrant and diverse community of nearly 400 students who speak nineteen different first languages. Many of our students face significant challenges, with some living in a nearby homeless shelter. As a Title 1 public school, we are committed to providing equitable access to tools that empower all students to Believe. Achieve. Succeed. Dream Big and Make it Happen!
We are requesting an iPad for our school library to help students become independent learners and digital explorers.
With the iPad, students will be able to search the library catalog, access trusted research databases like EBSCO and World Book, and build their information literacy in a supportive, technology-rich environment.
More than just a research tool, the iPad will allow students to share their learning in creative and meaningful ways. From interactive slideshows to collaborative iMovies, our students will be able to express their ideas, tell their stories, and inspire their peers.
This device will play a vital role in transforming the library into a hub of inquiry, creativity, and connection—giving all students the opportunity to shine.
