Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Pre-K students thrive when provided with hands-on experiences that engage their senses and ignite their curiosity. Science and music resources like hands-on tools, view masters, and life cycle figures offer a wealth of benefits for their holistic development. Music and movement time will be more engaging with the CD player and microphone system.

Enhanced Learning Engagement: Hands-on tools allow children to actively explore scientific concepts and mathematical principles in a tangible way.

When they can touch, manipulate, and observe objects, they deepen their understanding and retention of abstract concepts.

View masters and life cycle figures provide visual and tactile stimuli, catering to different learning styles. By engaging multiple senses, these resources reinforce learning and make it more memorable for young learners.

Through hands-on experimentation and exploration, children develop critical thinking skills such as problem-solving, logical reasoning, and hypothesis testing. Music resources stimulate creativity and imagination in young learners. They provide opportunities for self-expression, improvisation, and exploration of different sounds and rhythms, fostering a love for music and creative expression.

My goals are to provide Pre-K students with enriching learning experiences that foster curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking skills, promote a love for science, math, and music, create an inclusive learning environment where every child feels empowered to explore, discover, and express themselves through hands-on exploration and musical exploration.

Our Pre-K students are a diverse and dynamic group, each possessing unique talents, interests, and perspectives. They are natural explorers, eager to investigate the world around them and make sense of their experiences. Our students demonstrate boundless curiosity, resilience, and creativity, enriching our learning community with their infectious enthusiasm and zest for discovery. By providing them with access to science and music resources, we aim to nurture their innate curiosity, celebrate their individual strengths, and inspire them to reach their fullest potential.

Ms. Rocha's Busy Bee's Pre-K! will only receive her materials if this project is fully funded by August 19.
