My Project
In the short time I've spent with my first graders, I've witnessed their growing enthusiasm for reading. Despite the challenges of joining the class midway through the year, I'm determined to create an environment that fosters their love for literature. That's why I'm excited to share a project aimed at building a Reading Oasis in our classroom, starting with a much-needed bookshelf.
A bookshelf might seem like a simple addition, but its impact is profound.
It will not only organize our expanding collection of books but also create a warm and inviting space – a Reading Oasis – where students can escape into the world of stories and knowledge. This dedicated space will encourage independent reading, spark meaningful discussions about their favorite books, and contribute to a positive classroom culture.
