Empower Northern Arapaho Teens to Travel to Europe 4

My Project
My students have been given the unique opportunity to travel to Spain to play basketball and experience the history and culture of Spain and France. These three young ladies are part of the Northern Arapaho Tribe and live on the Wind River Reservation. They have been fundraising nonstop for the last two months. They have given presentations, approached 250 local businesses, put on raffles, food sales, tiny tot basketball tournaments, bake sales, and so much more. These young ladies have all learned how to get their passports and IDs. Most importantly, they have learned that dreams can come true if you put in the hard work! They have raised over $15,000 in two months and still have about $5000 to go.
As this endeavor is a huge financial burden, I am hoping to provide these young ladies with suitcases durable enough for travel, socks for their basketball practices and games, and battery packs that they can take with them on cultural and historical excursions so that they are safe and their phones can be charged.
They will be gone 14 days, traveling from Madrid, Velencia, Barcelona, and finally Paris. Donors Choose is such a wonderful platform full of generous people. I'm hoping that your donations will help fund some of the basketball gear needed for this journey. They will be playing European Club teams and practicing daily. They are required to bring practice clothes like shorts, sweats and sports bras. I know doing this is a huge step out of their comfort zone, so i feel if they are provided with the right gear this will ease some of their anxiety and give them more confidence to make friends and play at the top of their game.
