My Project

We're looking to fund a podcast studio for our middle school French, Mandarin, and Spanish Language Immersion Program.

Podcasting isn't just a passing trend; it's a remarkable tool for engaging students in the world of language learning and STEM exploration.

Through podcasting, students have the opportunity to develop a diverse set of skills, including speaking, writing, organizing information, conducting research, and producing content.

Podcasting serves a dual purpose within our program. It functions as both an exercise and a production outlet. On one hand, it allows students to sharpen their target language skills and dive into the fascinating world of STEM topics, providing practical experience in speaking, writing, and scientific inquiry. On the other hand, it engages students in presenting their research findings and reflections in their target language, fostering creativity and expression. Moreover, podcasting opens the door to meaningful cultural and academic exchanges with schools worldwide.

To bring this innovative initiative to life, we are seeking funding to cover essential expenses such as podcasting equipment, including a podcast production console, microphones, headphones, and related accessories. Your support will play a pivotal role in making our dream of a dedicated podcasting studio, where language and STEM topics intersect, a reality.

By integrating podcasting into our middle school language immersion and STEM programs, we believe that we can not only enhance language learning but also promote global awareness, cross-cultural understanding, and scientific exploration. This aligns perfectly with our mission to nurture well-rounded, globally aware students who are also well-versed in STEM fields.
