My Project
As a Media Studies teacher in a bustling NYC public school, I strive to inspire my students to become creators and critical thinkers in today’s media-driven world. To do this, I need access to the tools and technology that will allow me to effectively guide their learning and develop engaging, hands-on projects. With your support, we can bring an iMac into our classroom to serve as a critical resource for teaching, planning, and media production.
I’m seeking funding for an iMac computer to enhance my ability to teach Media Studies.
The iMac will be used for everything from lesson planning and project development to editing and producing media content alongside my students. This tool will allow me to teach advanced skills such as video editing, audio production, and graphic design while modeling the creative process for my students.
This will Allow me to create and lead dynamic, hands-on media projects that inspire my students to explore careers in media, journalism, and the arts.
Provide students with access to professional software and tools to develop technical skills in editing, design, and content creation.
Serve as a central resource for producing classroom podcasts, videos, and digital storytelling projects that amplify students' voices.
Empower me to be a more effective educator with access to reliable, state-of-the-art technology for lesson planning, grading, and project development.
