It was interesting for the children to see that people they have never met would reach out to them and help them in a way that they aren't necessarily used to so that was great, teaching them to appreciate that sometimes people look out for those of us who are just a little bit less fortunate than others. \r\n\r\nThe experience also made the students start to think about ways that they could help other people and our community like maybe helping out the children in the elementary school providing things for them when they come to the after school program just to borrow some of our supplies to help them do their homework and things like that so the experience through Jonas shoes has absolutely been a source of inspiration to our middle school students and we thank you","fullyFundedDate":1745847033744,"projectUrl":"project/help-us-make-it-to-the-end-of-the-year/9186565/","projectTitle":"Help Us Make It To The End Of The Year!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. R. Our students now have access to real-time translation, which has helped them feel less anxious, more confident, and empowered to participate more fully in class discussions. One of our students, speaks very limited English, used one of the tablets to translate his thoughts during a writing assignment.
