Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Installing a charging station in our 1st-grade classroom will greatly enhance our students' learning experience. With the increasing use of tablets and other devices for educational activities, having a reliable place to charge these tools ensures that every student can fully participate in our digital lessons. A charging station will reduce interruptions during class, allowing for more seamless transitions between activities and maximizing instructional time.
Additionally, it promotes responsibility as students learn to manage the charging and care of their devices.
Overall, this addition will help create a more efficient and tech-friendly learning environment.
Our 1st grade students are exceptional learners that continue to want to grow and achieve greatness. They are excited to explore the world and develop as citizens of the community. Our students are creative, thoughtful and inquisitive! They love hands-on, engaging projects that allow them to think critically and work together to find solutions. Our scholars come to us from a variety of backgrounds and with a variety of needs. Many of my students come from single-family households and are low income.
