This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Help me give my students the gift of organization and focus with seat sacks! By providing these specially designed pockets for their chairs, we aim to create a classroom environment where clutter is minimized, and each student has a designated space to keep their materials. This simple addition will make a significant difference in their learning by reducing distractions, and allowing for easy transitions between different subjects and activities. My goal is to enhance the overall classroom experience, promoting concentration and engagement.

What makes this project special to my class is that we came up with a simple idea together: make the classroom less predictable and increase social interactions and community-building through daily, randomized seating changes.

These materials will create a drastic difference in the speed at which we can transition from subject to subject and desk to desk. It will help eliminate losing books and other items. We want to shake things up, we want to stay organized, and we want to be quick about it. We would love it if you could help us achieve this goal!
