Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The requested items, such as fitness equipment and educational resources, will enhance their learning by providing hands-on experience and guidance to develop skills essential for maintaining a healthy lifestyle. While there are some items that are NECESSARY for physical education, items such as the Tug-O-War rope are for fun!

Our goal is to empower Title I low-income students with the resources and knowledge needed to cultivate lifelong habits of health and wellness through physical education.

Our students are special because they demonstrate resilience and determination despite facing socio-economic challenges. They deserve equitable access to opportunities for growth and development in physical education. Accessible resources and support in physical education not only enhance their physical fitness but also instill confidence, resilience, and crucial life skills. Through inclusive and comprehensive PE programs, we aspire to nurture their potential, foster a sense of belonging, and pave the way for a brighter, healthier future, regardless of their economic circumstances.
