Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

An Apple iPad and Apple Pencil would allow me to freely move throughout the building as I work with gifted students across multiple grade levels in a preK-8 school. An iPad would allow me to interact with any Promethean board in the school as I visit different classrooms and grade levels. This mobility is imperative for personalized instruction and immediate feedback, ensuring that I can address misunderstandings on the spot and adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning needs.

The iPad Air reduces the need to print materials so that we can continue to protect the Earth.

I can add lessons on the spot to my student’s dashboard so that they can research and complete work using their technology. This would have a significant environmental impact and hopefully motivate not just students but other staff to be more self-aware of the materials they are using and the effect on our Earth.

The versatility of an iPad Air extends to effective classroom management. Its use enables me to maintain a seamless flow of lessons, minimizes disruptions, and keeps students focused and motivated. By having the flexibility to navigate the classroom without being tied down to a desk or a slow connecting computer, I can more easily maintain a positive and productive learning environment.

The iPad Air's apps and features allow me to create captivating visual aids, interactive simulations, and live demonstrations. Whether it's a complex scientific concept, a historical event, or a piece of literature, the iPad brings subjects to life, catering to various learning styles and making the content more accessible to all students.
