Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Many students in Baltimore City are affected by trauma and mental health issues that impact their learning and well-being. Access to appropriate therapy materials can make a significant difference in their ability to cope and succeed. When students receive the support they need, they’re more likely to engage positively with their education and reach their full potential.

In response to this urgent need, we are asking for essential therapy resources and materials to support student social emotional learning and well-being.

These resources will be used to support students in their emotional and psychological healing, helping them to thrive both in and out of the classroom. By equipping schools with tools designed to support mental health, we’re fostering a safe and nurturing environment where students can feel heard and valued.

Your generous donation will directly fund the acquisition of therapy materials, including inclusive counseling tools and interactive activities tailored to support mental health.
