My Project

Every child deserves access to high-quality reading instruction that meets their individual needs—and the UFLI Foundations program is a powerful tool to help us get there. I am seeking support to provide UFLI teacher manuals for our classroom teacher, special education teacher, and English language (EL) teacher. These structured literacy guides are grounded in the science of reading and designed to help educators deliver explicit, systematic instruction that supports all learners.

Many of our students face barriers to reading success.

Some are English learners working to build foundational language skills; others are struggling readers with learning differences who need instruction broken down clearly and consistently. The UFLI program was built with these students in mind. It aligns with the latest research in reading development and equips teachers with lesson plans, routines, and visual supports that can be immediately implemented.

Having three sets of manuals ensures a consistent, unified approach across the school day. When classroom teachers, special educators, and EL teachers use the same language and methods, students get more repetition, more reinforcement, and—most importantly—more confidence.

Your donation will directly impact our most vulnerable readers by giving their teachers the tools they need to reach them. With UFLI, we can ensure every child has the opportunity to learn to read, regardless of their background or learning profile.
