This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our advanced 6th grade math class is ready to tackle higher-level concepts—from complex fractions and decimals to pre-algebraic thinking and statistical analysis. However, without access to appropriate calculators, students are spending valuable class time on tedious computations instead of focusing on mathematical reasoning and problem-solving strategies.

The Texas Instruments TI-30XS MultiView calculator is the perfect tool for this level of learning.

Its dual-screen display shows both the problem and solution simultaneously, helping students understand the relationship between input and output. The calculator supports fraction operations, statistical functions, and multiple representations—all critical for advanced mathematical thinking.

Why this matters: Students in advanced math classes need tools that match their intellectual level. These calculators will allow them to:
