My Project

As a middle school teacher, I believe whiteboards will promote active engagement, instant feedback, and collaborative learning. Whiteboards allow students to quickly show their thinking, correct mistakes without fear, and participate in lessons in a hands-on, visual way. They’re great for brainstorming, problem-solving, and formative assessments—keeping every student involved and accountable during class. My students come from very diverse backgrounds and many are English Language Learners. Whiteboards provide a low-pressure way to communicate ideas and receive immediate feedback. In a classroom where resources may be limited, whiteboards are a reusable, cost-effective tool that fosters creativity, critical thinking, and confidence in every student. In addition, extra whiteboard markers and a storage box is essential in a middle school classroom to keep supplies in stock and organized.
