Emotions Are the CORE of Every Human Being

Help me give my students the tools and books to learn about emotions and effective ways to express them.

My Project

Students need to learn about their emotions. They're young and need to be explicitly taught the vocabulary for different emotions. They need to know characteristics of each emotion to be able to use the corresponding vocabulary.

These books and items will provide visuals and the vocabulary to learn how to express themselves.

Along with the books, and emotion stuffed spots, it is important to have a calming corner in the class. The calming corner needs to have positive words, like on the pillow, and other items for students to look at and be "memorized" for a few minutes to deescalate.

Conversation cubes are huge and fast for students to learn about each other and build a relationship and for me to learn about my students. Then, I can use what I learn during hard moments and fun ones too.
