This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I work with students that have suffered through the Covid 19 pandemic. The students are suffering from deficiency in emotional wellness. We are trying to help them by having emotional support in place to stop or control emotional health or behavioral problems in class. By having stuffed animals and art supplies in every class, it will help with the emotional support and the students will be able to self regulate. This will help students self regulate creating automatism. The goal is that every single student will have a stuffed animal that they can carry around from class to class.
