Emotional Safety for All

I need professional development to help grow my skills in coaching teachers to manage students’ emotions and promote healing.

My Project

Since COVID, our school has experienced the same increase in student emotions and behavioral difficulties that has been documented nationwide. I have seen students feel more anger and rage than ever before, and this is not their fault. Our teachers want to support students through emotions, but doing so in a school setting poses unique challenges.

This training would help me create support plans for students who are struggling emotionally that are trauma-informed and best positioned to help promote healing for everyone.

My hope is that this will increase the feeling of safety and support for both students and staff, so that learning can occur.
