My Project

Teaching at a Title I school, I have seen first hand the effects that COVID has had on my students and their families. Many of my students come from households that really struggled with the financial burden of providing for their families. By providing snacks to my students, I can help offset the burden that my students’ families carry.

When I provide snacks for my students, I immediately notice a change in their behavior.

They become more engaged, energized, and cared for. Meeting these basic needs greatly helps with their learning.
