Help me give my students dry erase markers and erasers to help them with their passion for emergent writing.

I teach prekindergarten at a Title I school. In order to be eligible for prekindergarten students come from low-income homes. Our prekindergarten program helps the students not only get ready for kindergarten academically but also socially and emotionally.
My students are curious, creative, energetic, and amazing.
They deserve to be completely ready for kindergarten in all areas. A lack of access to resources should not stop them from being ready for their future. It is my passion to help my students get what they deserve while in prekindergarten.
The use of whiteboards is almost a daily activity in my classroom. Dry erase markers, are a hot commodity and we need more dry erase markers. We are now in the time of the year where students are experimenting with how to express themselves through writing. Some are drawing detailed pictures which they then can talk about in detail with the teachers. Other students are scribbling to represent words. Some students pretend to be the teacher and write the letter of the day while other students walk around the room with whiteboards copying words that they see in the environment.
By donating to our project, you will be helping students practice skills that they will need in order to be successful in kindergarten and beyond.
Students who can draw, scribble, and copy words are building their fine motor strength that will support them with being able to write with a pencil. Students will also be developing oral language skills because they can talk about what is on their whiteboard. Students will develop concepts about print because they understand that what they write/draw they can read and that print flows from left to right.
I have seen how engaged they were before our old markers dried out and hope that the new materials will help us grow even more!
