My Project
My upper-elementary emerging readers are ready to dive into reading! However, books at their reading levels tend to be somewhat juvenile for them. A series of Hi-Lo (high interest-low readability) texts is just what we need to spruce up our library and provide our newly arrived English Language Learners with relevant literature.
This engaging collection of books will give my enthusiastic readers access to age- and content-appropriate books. The books target specific decoding patterns in the context of a larger narrative. They are designed specifically for new readers and feature characters similar in age to themselves.
