My Project
I teach in a rural school in Utah. Our teachers do not have emergency backpacks in our classrooms. Our MERT team is trying to put together backpacks for each room. They will have student lists, first aid kits, and other essentials for a classroom lockdown. Our goal is to keep our students safe and to prepare our teachers to help their classrooms.
Our students deserve to feel safe and teachers deserve to have all of the tools that they will need during a lockdown.
This will help students feel safe and ready to learn.
