Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

More than three‑quarters of students are from low‑income households. I plan to use the literacy, language, class management materials to provide a diverse classroom where all students feel a sense of community. The variety of materials will help increase students communication and language skills so they can be able successful in interacting within their classroom and school setting. My goals for these materials are to help increase students confidence and build upon their foundation of learning. Each item requested will make a difference in all the students learning by enhancing their literacy, language and social-emotional skills to another level of development.
