Puberty! What comes to mind for you? Maybe it's voice changes, change in body shape, hair showing up in places never thought possible, acne, new strong emotions, new smells or body odor, and heightened care for physical appearance and validation from peers. According to the experts, puberty starts between 8-14 years. As a middle school nurse supporting students to achieve their academic goals, puberty cannot be ignored. Access to supplies such as deodorant, lotion, hair ties, toothbrushes, and chapstick will help students celebrate the amazing process of puberty and learn to care for themselves. Your generous donation will take the worry out of attending school for students without the necessary supplies to care for their growing and transitioning bodies.
