Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The items I have requested will not only support our ELL population here, but will also help us support parents during parent teacher conferences.
The translating devices we have chosen have the desired languages we have in the classrooms.
For example, Spanish, Arabic and Swahili.
We have also included resources that will help support what they learn while using the devices, like notebooks and reading worksheets and games.
Our school district is located in an area that has become highly populated with refugee students that come with different language needs. These resources will help support not only our students, but their families.
