it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My name is Ms. Sanchez and my social studies class of young asylum seekers are emerging language learners; ELL’s. My project is designed to encourage and reinforce a love of learning for a new language amidst all of the challenges new migrants encounter on a daily basis. With your help I will have a comfortable classroom space for my students to feel relaxed in a bean bag seat and enjoy reading.
Our goal is to have a variety of books to choose from with a colorful easel to display pictures to coincide with words to increase comprehension and success.
