My Students

Our first and second graders are energetic, enthusiastic, and super social. They are so enjoyable to be around. They love being involved in the learning process and want to succeed.

Our goal as a classroom is that we enter the classroom each day ready to try new things and be brave to make mistakes.

Mistakes lead to learning. As a teacher in an impoverished urban area, we struggle to have access to resources needed to provide a quality twenty-first century education. My goal is to provide an equitable education for each student in our classroom.

I teach eager and enthusiastic students who need these resources to reach their full potential.

My Project

Our students desperately need of a mouse to help them succeed with their new Chromebooks that they use in classroom. Using the trackpad often creates difficulty and struggles for younger students to operate their computers. Many of the students haven't developed the fine motor skills to operate the track pad. Overall, this current conflict creates a barrier for their success.

Taking away the trackpad frustration would allow students to focus on their learning tasks!

Students will use their mouse each day with their Chromebook. This would be so beneficial for all students. Please help eliminate the stress!
