This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students need to have access to flexible seating furniture in the classroom in order to help support their learning and engagement. A classroom layout has an impact on students learning. Studies have shown that flexible classroom seating has a positive impact on student engagement and academic success. Providing students with these flexible seating chairs will provide my students with the power to learn in positions most comfortable to them. The seats are designed to increase focus by allowing students to lean, lounge, rock, wobble, or stand, and in general be freer with their movements. They need resources to help them support their learning.

The seats will provide my students with the movement to help boost oxygen flow to the brain, which helps to keep students more alert and focused throughout lessons.

Your donations will help change the lives of a group of students by providing access to essential school supplies that are beneficial to their learning.
