This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Students

My students are my world and I love every moment challenging them to become independent thinkers and learners. Their willingness to explore is limitless. We are non-departmentalized and I believe if I could obtain iPads for each student or even enough to rotate out during rotation, it would be valuable to keeping them engaged and encouraged. We currently have two computer labs they utilize twice per week and a smart board in the classroom. My students have no other technology available for individual use throughout the day.

I organize my lessons in order to create an environment conducive to learning and movement through gallery walks (see photo) inside and outside the classroom in order to keep learning fun.

My students and I would truly appreciate your help in the continuous effort to implement engaging activities while increasing knowledge.

My Project

This iPad would be used to permit my students to recall, respond, and retain skills in order to elevate their thinking skills, and innovate the classroom to promote an area conducive to conceptual development. My goal is to obtain a classroom set for each child to utilize during instructional time. My students are eager to learn and would truly appreciate iPads being donated to enhance their diverse learning styles. I know my students can soar to greater heights with more technology based lessons. We are greatful to each donor and pledge to advance our mindset in order to be productive citizens.
