This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Your support will help to enhance social-emotional learning. Our project aims to procure a range of purposeful resources, including mindfulness materials, emotion-based games, and collaborative activities. The lights will allow for a more calm and comfortable learning environment which is beneficial to mix up the classroom setting due to my students staying in my classroom for most of the day. The games and posters are important for the student's learning through engaging activities and having references to look at around the room.

These carefully chosen tools will empower our students to develop essential life skills such as empathy, effective communication, and self-awareness.

By nurturing their emotional intelligence, we aim to create a more inclusive and harmonious learning environment that positively influences their overall well-being.

Our goal is to provide students with the tools to navigate life's challenges with confidence and resilience. Your support will be instrumental in cultivating their emotional well-being, ensuring both academic success and personal growth.

Our students are a remarkable and diverse group, each possessing unique strengths and backgrounds. Your contribution will enable us to provide tailored support, fostering a sense of belonging and empowering them to embrace their individuality.
