My Project

I teach a filmmaking class to middle school students in which I introduce them to the world of filmmaking as it really is in the world - not something off of their phones (TikTok has made "directors" of everyone it seems).

I create an environment where students learn the basics of writing, storyboarding, filming, directing, acting, editing, and publishing.

I have been adding to the technology available to me in the classroom so that the students are only limited by their imagination.

I am asking for some more robust tripods to put up with the strain of everyday use and for the protection of the cameras. I want to be able to answer the question of "Do we have the technology to make my idea happen?" with an emphatic "Yes!"
