Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students and their continued success mean so much to me. A large part of teaching in special education means differentiating instruction at an extremely individualized level on a daily basis. My students love hands-on activities and games because they make learning fun and the time fly! I love them as a teacher because they provide a much needed drill and practice for my students in a way that doesn't feel repetitive and forces them to practice skills that far exceed academics, such as turn-taking, sharing, following directions, and coping with a variety of emotions.
